You could have labeled them as high school students from a middle class community in the Appalachians, and I would not have doubted it. They're one of the most American-looking groups that you have posted (unless middle class Appalachians are Scottish-looking).

Interesting, Scots seem to often look more American, then again it seems like a lot of Southerners etc have names that start with Mc.
The extra Germanic input makes them look English, but even more as unmixed Anglo-Americans. CroMagnid-Alpinid-Corded mix... Very un-scandinavian
Here are people from Bergen. It's not that strange that Shetlanders look like they do. Possibly people have a stereotypical view of Scandinavians.

Blond looks more stereotypical Norwegian but the brown haired girl could fit in many countries.

Very ginger-y, even those who are not tend to have some reddish undertone in their hair.
Mostly Brunn phenotype here.
