German emperors spent more time in Italy

For almost 800 years the German emperors or KAISERS ( from Julius Caesar ) spent more time in Italy (going back and forth from Rome to Germany) than in Germany.

The German emperors and the entire class of rich nobles and merchants were never interested in what was happening in Scandinavia for hundreds of years.

The myth of the Vikings was only recently constructed by some scholars who wanted cultural roots different from the Roman( and Greek ) cultural roots, obtaining only ridiculous results.
