Fast trains are faster and cheaper here. However, they don’t go to every city and town as buses do.
neither xD and nor by car.
due to extremely slow trains, lack of highways, therefore crowded and slow roads while the buses have almost disappeared, over 90% of regional and national road transport (therefore non-local) is made with something we call microbuz (minibus?). it's actually vans.
I would say that trains in Spain are used for medium or long distance and buses for short or medium distance. Both modes of transportation work well. The train can function as a substitute for the plane on trips within the peninsula on certain occasions.
Most people usually travel around the peninsula in their own vehicle, the road network, contrary to the bad reputation it had until the 80s, is quite good.
It is better to travel by bus here.
The trains are very slow, except the new high-speed train on the Belgrade-Novi Sad line.
Both I'd say.
Trains are reliable and travelling by train offers truly stunning and amazing views.
Buses are however much better option for rural areas, they are also much cheaper and quite reliable.
Train. There are intercity bus services but those are much slower than the railways.
Bus/Cabotage flights.
The rail network in Argentina is in decay.

Both have been popular & both have their pros & cons . Like buses are more readily available . Otoh for longer distances , railways are more comfortable . Though this current kleptocratic regime has been sneakily degrading railways by hook & crook over the years in a bid to generate as much fund as possible as also making way for their ultimate goal - privatization (by selling it to their plutocrat mitr) .
