I said I tend to like both 'extremes': very blond White guys but also very dark-skinned guys (principally West Africans and some South Asians). This doesn't mean I totally discount swarthy or Medish looking types, however.

I don't think it's that much of a stretch to say that. I think the lightness of Lebanese is overblown on these forums. Sure they have a lot of lighter types esp compared to other Arab speakers but there are still definitely many typical Middle Eastern and Arab/brown looking Lebanese, and I've personally met some. The language had to have come from somewhere. That's not supposed to be an insult, though many people here would take it that way.
