I don't think we should have made a formal alliance. That's how we got dragged into fighting in Russia. We could have been doing our own thing, like taking Albania, Dalmatia, Nice, Corsica and Greece. And Southern European food is the best, hands down. I will tell you though, I do love me some spaetzle and schnitzel (even though schnitzel is originally from Lombardy, lol)
