Only few Albanians are recorded in Kosovo in the late middle age. They were semi nomadic sheperds who resided in Kosovo only occasionally. If some of them stayed in Kosovo permanemtly it was assimilated in Serbs. 95% of population were Serbs, and most numerous minority were Vlachs.

Serbia (including Kosovo) didn't have zero population when Slavs came, that population was absorbed by Slavs.
It is part of our autosomal genetics, not yours.
One of my results:
1 Romanian + Tuscan + Ukrainian + Ukrainian-Russian @ 3.018660

That Tuscan-like and Romanian-like (although Romanians have a lot Slavic admixture) are pre-Slavic population of Serbia, including Kosovo.

Saxon miners were more numerous in Kosovo in the middle age than Albos https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxons_in_medieval_Serbia
Among Kosovo Serbs exist haplogroups R1b-U106 and I2-M223, and people who carry these haplos are from places close to medieval mines where Saxons lived. There is no R1b-U106 and I2-M223 in Kosovo Albanians. If they lived in Kosovo in the middle age they would assimilate some Saxons, but of course it was impossible when they settled in Kosovo in 17th and 18th century.

Albanians genetically are more Balkan and native in region, that is why genetically Albanians and Greeks are more similar than with South Slavs for example. Serbs are more Eastern but nobody is denying the fact that Serbs also share native admixture but less than Albanians.

A man in the middle that holds decapitated human heads is Sadiq Cuflaj from the village of Prilep, municipality Decani, Kosovo. Young man to his left is his son Valon Cuflaj, born in april 1981. Valon is today a member of Kosovo protection corps with rank of lieutenant. He's working in inspectorate in the town of Pec. All three of them were members of OVK (UCK) unit that was commanded directly by Ramus and Daut Haradinaj. Head that Cuflaj holds in his left hand is the head of Bojan Cvetkovic, bron in Nis, 1972. Bojan after NATO aggression volunteered to serve his homeland. During the first days of war, in April 1999. he was drafted in Pristina corps, 549. motorized unit. Unfortunately, already on 11. April on the road Prizren - Pristina, in the vicinity of Suva Reka he was captured by the members of OVK (UCK). Together with him were captured 4 more soldiers: Zarko Filipovic, Dragoljub Tanaskovic, Dragan Vucetic and Zivota Topalovic. From that day they were not heard from (MIA). In his right hand Sadiq holds head of Aleksandar Ozegovic who was on 24. of march 1999. drafted as a volunteer as well. He was placed in 243. brigade of the Army of Yugoslavia. He was officialy deemed missing in action (MIA) on 19. of april 1999. in the village of Dulje, nearby Suva Reka. He was 26 years old.
