Spaceballs (1987 ‧ Comedy/Sci-fi ‧ 1h 36m) - never watched Star Wars but I watched this parody of it and I already know the parody is better than Star Wars
a B movie doesn't need to be so bad that it's good - it's any lower-budget film or of a niche genre, or anything non-mainstream with an unconventional storytelling and lesser-known actors (though there's plenty of B movies with top actors as well).
I think many so-called art films of some of the best directors can go as B movies from the point of view of their popularity and production, films that are awarded by critics at the big film festivals - some of the most awarded and highly-regarded film directors are absolutely unknown to the larger public
