No. Wokism is just another repackaging of Marxist ideas, the critical theory, the struggle between the oppressed and their oppressor. It's the same warmed-up leftovers.
While the extreme right was suppressed in the West, the extreme left was allowed to fester, partly because the West, didn't want to admit they have made an alliance with a criminal regime (the Soviets) in order to defeat another criminal regime (the Nazis).
As part of the KGB, Putin didn't work in the West, but rather in East Germany. He did have contacts in the West. How much was he involved in subversive actions in the West is hard to know at this point, but certainly his organization was.
