I don't think there is anything "Pontid" about him other than brown hair and eyes. He is presumably a 50/50 mix of Russian/Tatar or Russian/Bashkir, and accurately guessing what his Russian part would look like without the other part is not possible.

That's a man that definitely benefits from having a beard, otherwise his face looks quite feminine.

I'd say he's Gorid with some Mongoloid admix. Maybe Volgid phenotype is also appropriate.

I know, I said Pontid because his face looks a little long and his cephalic index doesn't look like brachy like many Eurasian phenotypes.
