The filter had reset itself to 150 miles.
I changed it back to within 30 miles and now the 50 people are narrowed down to just 2 people.

One has a compatibility score of 77 (age 59) and the other is 97 (age 64). The 64 year old is into scuba diving and likes hockey, travel, the beach, among other things. I don't think he will like me because he is into fitness and I'm not (I'm fat).

Were you raised in a Catholic home in New York? I'm curious as to how you went from Catholic to whatever. I take it that you put your belief system in the category of heathen or pagan. Is it that you don't like the "Judeo" in "Judeo-Christian" (not a fan of this misleading term since Christ brought forth the New Testament to separate believers from the Old Testament, a new covenant not limited to Jews).

No I wasn't raised Catholic. My Mom was a Christian Scientist. I went to an Episcopalian preschool. Temporarily went to Christian Science Sunday school. My Mom followed an Indian guru for several years and I went to Sat Sang with her until my preteen years. I had Roman Catholic friends and boyfriends. When I was 13 I tried to pick a Christian denomination to join. I don't believe Jesus was the literal Son of God. I don't believe in the Immaculate Conception. So, that makes me non-Christian.

I didn't see that coming. I thought that you said that you were a heathen, so I assumed that you were into a European folk belief system like Odinism since that would tie into some of your geopolitical views.

I am Heathen. I respect the beliefs of my Christian and my pagan ancestors.

What does that mean? I thought that heathen and pagan were pretty much the same, with the latter being a more formal belief system.

Yes, it is pretty much the same. I don't have a formal belief system. Eharmony has a long list of religions but they don't have an option to leave it blank. I tried to put "non-Abrahamic" in my eHarmony intro but it was rejected. They don't have Heathen but they have Pagan, Wiccan, and New Age. Tonight I changed it to "Spiritual but not religious".


I also removed Heathen and all the other permission groups I had in my Apricity profile.

I updated my eHarmony settings by expanding to all of the USA & Canada instead of just within 30 miles. There were 745 and I deleted some. There are handsome men in Canada but I think I'll have to delete Canada. I'm surprised at how old some of the eharmony guys look. Men in their 50's and 60's that look like they are in their 80's. My flaw is that I'm overweight.
