I have nothing against her but as a white nationalist with a built-in preference for all things Nordic and ultra-pale, she's obviously going to have a visceral reaction to brown skin and/or white people's attempts at having brown skin.

I have a bodybuilder friend and she also does the brown spray tan for shows. It washes right off and I think it's just a part of bodybuilding culture.

Either way Elizabeth's reaction to it is comically over the top. Bodybuilding and stuff like that isn't my thing, I'm just supportive of my friend who does it. I'm not very educated about it.

I am not a huge fan of the gays myself but I don't think bodybuilding has anything to do with sexuality. My bodybuilding friend is perfectly heterosexual. Anyway, I'm not trying to pick on you. It's just the tan that washes off is indeed a part of the culture of bodybuilding. I think they look like rotisserie chickens, as the skin color it gives them is not natural to any humans, but it is what it is.

I hate to say it but why would you want someone who "looks past" what you are? That doesn't seem like a very quality relationship. Losing weight is not particularly difficult, simply maintain a calorie deficit and even light exercise will help you, such as going on daily walks. Plus you will live longer if you do this.

Mortimer should lose weight, but I assume it would actually be less difficult for you than it would for him.
All things are not equal in such situations.

Not to make excuses for him but the truth is it actually could be more difficult for him to lose weight being that with his mental health condition he is likely on medications that have side affects of weight gain. Which means his effort to lose the weight has to be even more significant and more difficult.

And that level of weight gain requires quite a big significant change in diet and lifestyle to have an impact and to get down to a non obese weight will probably take him at least 8 months to 12 months minimum but probably longer. He should do it though.

I'm also on medications that cause weight gain.
