Regarding steroid use: the second guy has phenomenal genetics. Probably 1 out of 50 guys could be build like that (with lots of work). Maybe it's even 1 out of 100. But this physique is possible without steroids, imo.

Did you see the link I posted with James Haskell and Anthony Joshua? I am sure both have undergone plenty of drug tests.

We live in the 21. century, you can do anything with special diets and steroids. I know many guy who had lame body in the high school and nowadays they look like Schwarzenegger or the second guy. Good genetic just makes it easier but not a necessary thing.

The vast majority of gym-goers are healthier than the vast majority of fat people. There are a minority of gym-goers that take steroids or exercise to an unhealthy degree, and there are a minority of fat people who have healthy vitals. Overall, people who watch what they eat and exercise regularly are healthier than people who don't do those things.

The man in the first image has a lot of visceral fat, which is the real killer, especially in men, who are more prone to heart disease and similar obesity-related health problems than women are.

A lot of short men can get really muscular, it's actually kind of nice. My husband is about the same height as that man and it didn't take him long at all to naturally become very muscular when he was young. That man's body isn't even abnormally muscular, it's just about what any man with decent genetics could accomplish by going to the gym regularly and eating properly. We are just so used to fat blobs who stuff their face all day that we can't recognize someone who looks healthy and normal.

No one in their right mind wants a man who is out of breath from walking up steps and demolishes bags of Doritos every day.
Yeah my first thought was how his physique is literally visually offensive. His hips are almost equal in width to his shoulders.

It somewhat depends on genetics where a person's excess fat goes but this is probably one of the worst examples of a dad bod I've ever seen. Other men at least don't immediately grow womanly hips.

The sprinter Harry Aikines said he developed pecks when he was just thirteen. And this is him now:

Regardless of whether or not AJ has ever used steroids (and he as never tested positive as far as I know), his genetics are sick.

Being muscular and this type of perfect muscularity are two different things. In the gym, using steroids is a pretty normal thing, because most guys want quick results. There are many interview with such muscle models, almost all of them used steroids all the time.
Of course the second guy has better looking body, but not necessarily healthier.

What about James Haskell, or the guy I just posted above (Harry Aikines)?
