Chinese are worse than CCP. I dislike "traditional" Chinese culture and mentality on general, but CCP is a quite pragmatic thing which limits Chinese. Orthodox thinkers viewed Chinese almost as satanists just a century ago.

Large part of that people received orders from their bosses (members of Vučić's SNS) at work to go to welcome the Chinese president, of course they got day off. I don't say this in a bad neither in good context, just saying as information.

Chinese already made huge enviromental damage in eastern Serbia with exploitation of mine near city Bor in which exist gold and copper. Percentage of cancer is much higher in Bor than in the rest of Serbia except Kosovo (in Kosovo is also high due to NATO bombing).

It will never happen. Countries like Serbia will always be tied to something/someone normally looking for own interest. Just like realistic partners of Georgia are Russia and Turkey not hell knows who from overseas.

Of course Serbia is not alone, their closest ally is Russia. I think the russian, central european and other balkanite economic realtions are enough for Serbia, no need to welcome the CCP. I would also support a more stronger Russia and russian economy. Unfortunatelly the russian economic influence has started to replace by the chinese in the region and its not good.

Due to an attempt to maintain good trade relations with China, many Muslim countries such as Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Somalia, and others turn a blind eye to the actions carried out by Chinese authorities against the Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang. A notable exception is Turkey, which, due to its economic independence from China, is able to oppose and express direct criticism of the actions of the Chinese government. China, on its part, requires access to the Mediterranean Sea for the sake of the Belt and Road Initiative. Therefore, China, the People's Republic, has begun constructing a railroad through Belgrade to Thessaloniki, which will provide access to the Mediterranean Sea for Hungary, Austria (both influenced by the Danube River), Serbia, Northern Macedonia, and Greece. However, at the same time, it will distance these countries from the possibility of multiple Turkish influences, thereby undermining Turkey's influence in the Balkans.

Turkey influence is minor in Balkans, only among Muslims.
They cannot compete with strong influence of China.

See, I'm not a fan of Xi or someone similar, but this person and his decisions matter. Majority of EU politicians decisions do not matter and even the fact do they exist or not.

Yes, it matters. It's an easy way to see that a state is feeble or has no international projection whenever it is necessary to stop the entire country just because of the visit of a foreign head of state, albeit a major one. Your whining about Macron (another major player) attests to that since you seem very concerned about what he has to say or not, even though I just gave France as an example.
