That's because Southwestern Turks have higher CA admix on average.

You know, I regularly see people in these boards saying things like 'There are the white Turks who are descendant of the Jannisarries and Turkified Greeks, and there are the dark Turks who have Mongoloid admix from the real Turks'. I've seriously seen people saying this so many times that if I didn't know my country, I would almost think that Turkey is a racially segregated country with 'White Turks' and 'Dark Mongoloid admixed Turks'.

So I love how these pictures show how false and wrong those people are.

In my private opinion those people looks like Chuvash or Tatars than standard turkic people from Central Asia. Btw typical Turks would be very foreign-looking persons in Central Asian states because your nation are turkic only by language.

Well ,during our history we never made cast systems ,fictional ladders like chain of being .But it's in their culture.
It was one year ago one of my Nepalise friend moved to Amerika and he developed a thing called "asian pride "..He was constantly talking about his eyes ,posting asian jokes etc.Idk if he was so Asian back in Nepal?
Same with me ,i was also ignorant about those classifications.I was a happy person, thinking hair colour ,skin color are only things we need to know if we want to wear fashionable ,that's all..
Only after i joined facebook i met the concept "whiteness" with a test asking irrelevant questions about my monthly supermarket expenses or what kind if car i drive ..i scored %20 white)
So i understood their weird social structure ,putting people into different boxes according to their colour, seemed very silly to me.
Also funny comments written by grown up white males on my youtube account " I have white skin ,colour eyes ,i m beautiful you are ugly" ,like a teenage girl sounds gay ..Am I model agent or what ?

If it is superiority ,they can enjoy with this

May be they think ,we are same like them ..Its hard to understand if you don't know their mentality , how important is pigmentation in social life when you live in Europe or USA..

Thanks God ,I am not European ,The more I know them the more i love my country.

Actually no .What we try to say is ,we cannot be fixed in a imaginary fictional stereotype called "real Turk" created by non Turks , and exclude other ones as mutts label them Turkified .
We lived in this region long time and intermingled with locals ,but in general ,Turks have a common eurasian look ,whether light or dark skinned ,brown or hazel eyed ..it doesn't matter .We don't even care eye color hair color eye shape etc in Turkey .These things I newly learnt from forums.

nice costumes. when did their villages switch to turkish as main language? for example north and northeast romania started speaking romanian as first language in the countryside in the last 10 to 150 years (mostly after WW2), they spoke ukrainian before. was it the case for these turks?

Excellent point, because the dyed blonde hair phenomenon is strictly limited to Turks.

Nah, the region in question has been Turkish with the matching language since the 13th century.
