Momčilo Đujić was a Serbian Orthodox priest and Chetnik commander who led a significant proportion of the Chetniks within the northern Dalmatia and western Bosnia regions of the Independent State of Croatia during World War II. After the assassination of King Alexander of Yugoslavia in 1934, he joined the Chetnik Association of Kosta Pećanac. After the invasion of Yugoslavia, he defended local Serbs against the Croatian fascist Ustaše regime and collaborated with the Axis powers against the Communist-led Yugoslav Partisans throughout the remainder of the war as the commander of the Chetnik Dinara Division. He survived the war, surrendering to the western Allies and eventually emigrating to the United States. He was tried and convicted in absentia for war crimes by the new Yugoslav communist government, including responsibility for organising and carrying out a series of mass murders, massacres, tortures, rapes, robberies, and imprisonments, and collaborating with the Italian and German occupiers. Included in these charges was responsibility for the deaths of 1,500 people.
    Wrong, wrong and wrong!
Momčilo Đujić was Orthodox priest in village Strmica until 1941. In 1941 when Croatians from Kijevo kidnapped 40 Serbian civilians from Polača, killed them and pushed in karst hole Golubnjača on Dinara mountain he left priestly profession and took rifle to protect own people. He was not priest during the whole period of WW2. Last person which was baptized by Đujić when he still was a priest was my cousin who got name Momčilo in honor of Đujić.
Serbs in Dalmatia and small part of Bosanska Krajina around Grahovo, Drvar and Petrovac were preserved in WW2 due to Đujić. In others parts of Bosanska Krajina, Lika, Kordun and Banija where Partisans were dominant among Serbian population a lot of Serbs were killed by Croatian ustashe. First Serb from Kozara served Yugoslavian army 20 years after WW2 because a lot of Serbs including children were killed on Kozara. Also many Serbian children from Kozara were deported in conc camp Jastrebarsko and many of them were adopted by Croatian families, vast majority of them never find out for their Serbian roots and lived whole life as Croatians https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jastre...entration_camp

Yes, but many children from Kozara were saved by these families. I know few people that help them during that time.
I mention my paternal grandpa was prisoner in Jasenovac for 3 months.

He say prisoners were killed during night and he claims some of Kozara children was killed there. But he also say story of huge massacre of these children is big lie and most were adopted by families in Zagreb.
Most of children who dies died of poor hygienic conditions and lack of food there, which was totally lacking during that time everywhere.

My grandpa father (Bosniak) ended in Stara Gradiška jail for smuggling fruits from Dubica to Zagreb. And he said that jail was worse than Jesenovac.
