Corduneanu and Camataru clans (seen in that pic) are Gypsies not Romanians, and have always been that. Besides, Romanians never had clans.

And yes, the higher the European admixture the higher their ranking among gypsies. The difference between western and eastern med is that the former has more arab than turkic admixture. If I had to chose between arabic and turkic I'd choose turkic every time.

Only 2 look gypsy mixed but who cares when the leaders aren't gypsy at all nor are most members, Corduneanu isn't a gypsy clan.
