    Default Conservation: Egyptian Tunic

Now in the Victoria and Albert Museum:

Elizabeth-Anne Haldane, Textile Conservator at the V&A, describes the conservation work undertaken on an 8th-century Egyptian tunic, one of the exhibits to be displayed in the Medieval and Renaissance Galleries. Find out more: https://www.vam.ac.uk/collections/ren...

It's not Egyptian Tunic, It's a Roman Tunic and it's used with belt or cord/rope around waist

Yeah but Orthodox Copts were Roman Citizens who lived in Arab Caliphate. Even today they use similar tunics a bit more modern.

Also "Roman Tunic" I meant in cultural aspect, technically Roman Tunic can be used by anyone :>
