For such a massive country i thought they would outnumber Taiwan much harder.

How I view it is that Taiwan is to China what Hawai is to America, some small island which belongs to their country, now if China protects Hawai etc. from the US? Enough of the NATO bullshit and for everyone in the world it is better if there is a balance of a few superpowers because as we know power corrupts, thats why in a democracy in a country there is division of powers like executive, legislative, jurdicative etc. It is wrong if the power is in the hands of only a few 1% of the ones who lead american politics

Same goes for Cyprus, whole island originally Greek and Northern(Turkish)Cypriots are genetically close to Greek Cypriots&Aegean islanders, in my opinion Turkey&Turks have to hand the whole island to Greeks, Northern Cypriots don’t want any Turkish entities on their lands.

I really have no idea why the US thinks or the NATO that they have a right over Taiwan or it is their duty to protect them, Taiwan is China too. Or Chinese sphere of influence, only if the US thinks it has the right to be the only superpower and world government/hegemon on this planet. I think that is what they think, and would portray it as horror and attack if they are not the only superpower anymore. They are not directly threatened, it is not like China wants to invade the US or a neighboring country of the US.
