Maybe Slavic Italian meant the Russian advance a year ago, but Russia lost Ukraine 30 years ago.

The attackers fail to do this - they lose equipment, people, this greatly discredits NATO weapons. Also, Ukrainians have not achieved any territorial acquisitions.
