What is the best way to get to know how an ethnicity or nationality looks like?

For example, the 2021 Census claims that my city is 91% White, but that is not what I see looking around the city centre nowadays!

Thats why i offered high schools. downtown is a mess, it has different demographics day/night or even hourly, you cant get a real impression there. But schools reliable represent demographics.

It isn't just that their terms are different, but that information regarding ethnicity at neighbourhood or even town/city level is often totally absent anyway.

Sure, thats why theres no point in tracking speficic ancestry there. We should use their terms like castizo-mestizo etc and that would be only reliable way.

All of those, i have posted them all. Crowds are getting increasingly difficult to post, but it's still possible to post crowds if you know what you're doing, which is why if is foreigners doing it, they will get it wrong more often than not. But most of the times in this forum, when it's foreigners posting people from other countries it's always with trolling intentions either way.

For Portugal politicians and actors are good (although they are also starting to get foreigners). For sports people, you have to know what you're doing.

Bullfighters are still a safe choice, it's kind of a rural activity no one cares about except some locals. My bullfighter pics have caused outrage among certain people here for not going along with their expectations.

The best way is to immerse yourself in the culture and the country, preferably for a considerable period of time.
