i always wonder if a world thats "controlled" or heavily affected by putin would even be all that different. Im sure that russias neighboring countries would change quite a bit, to the point where whole identities are at stake, but if you ignore that, if you can, what would even change? Im sure some countries would benefit a bit, in case borders change to affect countries that russia had trouble with. Obviously thats also bad for some other countries. I guess the point im more so trying to make is i wouldnt expect things to be wholly different than from the current state, for example i wouldnt expect mass deportations, as russia is also quite anti nationalist. In my eyes it would just be a sort of soviet union, but without a goal

Im saying this, because i really havent felt threatened by a russian invasion. Its not like the current state of politics is worth protecting and it doesnt seem like russian politics would be a colossal change either.

I think i have never said that Putin should rule whole Europe. Its against the german interests. Putin has no such ambitions either, or if he has such ambitions, doesnt matter because the russian army is not able to conquer the european continent. Putin will not attacks NATO countries because it means nuclear armageddon. Nobody wants it. Its a paranoid fantasy that Putin will attack the NATO.

Like it or not, Russia is a great power and every great power has sphere of influence. In the case of Russia, these countries are Ukraine and some other. Now Russia just defends its own sphere of influence. Doesnt matter that we are agree with it or not, doesnt matter who is right, this is how every single great powers work. What would happens if Ireland would allow chinese military camps? In next day England would invade them as well. What would happens if Mexico would allow russian military camps? In next day the US Army would invade them. Because everyone defends their sphere of influence. Russia is not exception.

Nobody said that russians are perfect, or Putin is a perfect leader. Of course he isnt, its not a question, i dont agree with tons of things what Putin is doing in Russia, but its not my business. Its not my task to care about the russian domestic politics, but to care about my own country. In West the main enemy is our own elite who wants population exchange, woke, debt slavery by banks and such things.

i would generally agree, especially with the sphere of influence thing, im not one to judge eastern europe especially cause it feels like everyone has claims on each other there, theres so much history that is being ignored for the sake of nations that are aligned with the west. The thing is, politically i dont think putin is all that different from the west. In my opinion the only notable difference is that hes against gay stuff really. All things considered, as a german it probably couldnt get any worse, though im not one to get my hopes up anymore xd

the west is undeniably evil, but that doesnt make the east automatically better in my opinion. There are quite a few people with nostalgia for soviet times cause they remember there having been less immigrants for example, but they ignore the vietnamese, cubans, africans, or other eastern immigrants just because they were smaller in numbers compared to turks in the west for example. In reality they wouldve caused population replacement as well, it wouldve just taken longer. I view current russia like this as well, as they have no interests in preserving anything. Russian birthrates are negative as well, they bring in central asian immigrants in masses and arent doing anything about growing islam in russia. I mean if things remain as they are for them, eventually itll be no different for them as it is here. Theyve even used middle eastern immigrants as a weapon against nato on the polish border, all of those ended up here of course.

I just cant care about the west/east split because of things like this. Its all only about racism, nazism, fascism and imperialism for both of them, none care about their own people

I don't know how much of the world Russia wants to conquer, and I don't care. Russia wants to dominate Eastern Europe, and that's enough for me.

This war in Ukraine is only for building russians ego. Putin is a crazy man. He has lost his touch to reality. Russia has zero capability to be number one in the world. That is for sure. Russians have no any kind respect to Ukraine. I have seen it throught with my personal contacts with russians. The dices has been cast. So let´s see how things are going. I have nothing against russians but Russia itself has set herself a pariah state category. I don´t like USA either but as i said the dice have been rolled. Russia would have had many other options to affect to Ukraine and it´s relations to other European countries. This is very hard way but we will see how things are going.
