We can probably see something about the increase in height, at least in whites (east asians are stable and africans are devolving in height) but it's just a momentary sexual selection and nutrition artefact that taps into a pool of mutation already available. This might pertain or not over the long run, and we know size can vary quickly in some instances (island dwarfism and gigantism fe)
We tend to associate as well evolution with something positive as in getting "better" features but it's rather just changes and adaptations if needed to significant natural pressures or selections whatever they may end up being or seen from our point of view. The term "evolution" had to be used for various reasons, again very anthropocentric, but it's not that exactly, how we commonly hear it. That might be a part of the usual misunderstanding when people think everthing should "evolve" like we did.

Height don't need centuries to occur, it can happen from one generation to another: I know some indios whose parents moved to the US and they are substantially taller.
