That just means height is easier to change. For example, i havent seen yet a skin type 1 person with both skin type 4 parents. (Unless disorders like albinism)

Ironically, I'm sure I have read reports which suggest that obesity levels in Mexico may have overtaken the US!

Not as extreme as that, but in many Latin American families in particular, given our very mixed genetics, you can see some pretty weird discrepancies between the generations and even siblings.

That is evolutionaary as well. When members of a species migrate to a place where where there is more food to sustain them, the parents thrive and their offspring become more robust.

Of course, average heights are based on a sample size and the whol process is slow. But the trend is there even if we don't see it with our eyes.

Still waiting for anyone to challenge "survival of the fittest'.

There is a recent international study that i posted in another thread a couple of months ago. I think you even commented it because it was showing French taller than English. East Asians and Europeans are both stabilizing after huge growths, before they had been getting about 1 to 2cm each decades or so, for at least a century. We probably can't get much taller at this point before it becomes too detrimental and maybe rich East Asians countries have reached their current peak genetic potential too. For example the Dutch were among the shortest in Europe and now are the tallest.

Anyhow it seems like it's since decolonization that Africans started losing height but it's not too surprising as even the Pigmies are the result of particular types of malnutrition over a long period of time, and as population explodes it's only gonna get worse since foreign aid won't be able to keep up.

Height is actually crashing in MENA and even more so in SSA since 1980. 0,1% decrease each year doesn't sound like much but that's roughly 1.5cm each decades in the case of SSA, who are already the shortest race among humans despite all myths, especially compared to East Asian proper. In less than 20 years they will be definetly the shortest on the planet at this rate. Only southeast Asia and south Asians are a bit shorter still overall, but they are not losing height right now.

It is like dog breeding. Dog generations are short so a different breed can be created in just a handful of years.

    The elephant in the room.

Evolution led to Nietzsche's concept of "The Superman" which corectly states that Mankind is still evolving.

Evil people took that to believe we should treat races of people like dog breeds.
    This led to "Eugenics".

This has led some to believe that Eugenics was a consequence of Evolution.
That is only true when bad people try to manipulate races with Evolution.

fun fact, most of those who have chosen a "master race" have chosen wrong.

Regarding the height of SSAs: in my experience they tend to have more extremes than Europeans in terms of both more really short and more really tall people.
