Odd I thought Italian women were fat

One could have that misconception because of italian cuisine (pastas, pizzas, charcuterie, cheeses etc) but actually the obesity rate in Italy is comparatively low, and one can see that on the streets, we don't see much fat people in Italy. It's maybe because of the quality of the products they eat (which is very high) and less exposure to americanised fast food.

You forgot to mention women of Sub-Saharan African descent, who, from what I've seen, have by far the greatest propensity for obesity. I'm pretty sure that at least in Portugal they have the highest rates of obesity, regardless of age group.

I think that obesity levels in Africa will follow or even surpass those in the West in the coming decades, as living conditions improve. There is already a clear trend in the more "stable" African countries.

Non-Hispanic Black adults (49.9%) had the highest age-adjusted prevalence of obesity, followed by Hispanic adults (45.6%), non-Hispanic White adults (41.4%) and non-Hispanic Asian adults (16.1%).

In France i think they are generally not that fat, at least the men. Although women tend to already have that bibendum look often seen in Aframs.

Some time ago I posted a thread with a map that, much to my surprise, said that the country in Europe with the most McDonalds' restaurants was actually France!

I think it goes a bit beyond that, more about food habits at home. Sweden has as much Mcdo per capita than France, they are not that fat either. Here Mcdo and other type of fast foods are seen as canteens by MENA and SSA.

Yes basically living in the US increases you rate of obesity by +10% or so if we go by UK and Japan.

It's definetly the majority everywhere unless very isolated places with no diversity. in Paris/Marseille you ll often see a McDo with not a single white person in it. I think it's Notacop who noticed that when he was here too. French usually see fast food as a one off thing once in a while, not a regular place to stop for eating.

Czech food isn't very healthy and at least in my family it was common to eat until the point of feeling sick. Plus all of the beer consumption. It tracks. I'm nothing like these niggas though

First time i visited England i thought people were fat and that was more than 15 years ago, im sure we ve caught up on the bad murican food habits but that's nothing in comparison to the US. Landwhales everywhere and i bet if "morbidly obese" was another category they would win hands down too (lot more rare in Europe i would say even UK).

Not too surprised about Turkey either taking the cake, in Europe almost all of them look some sort of chubby at least. I think NA would be up there but they are either skinny asf or fat asf, it's strange.
