Let make things clear. These people do not any typically British Isles. They might not be "strongly" East European - looking as you say, this doesn't automatically make them look typically British. They could easily pass as Austrian or Hungarian or Southern German.

    These are British to me

I was answering in American slang because the Colonel is American, anyway I doubt the average American would be aware of the obscure British places I have frequently posted threads from.

to the Balkanites? Hardly. But Bell Beakers were part-Borreby, and on the other side, there is the possibility that Brunn-like admix in Balkans exists as well, as a Paleo European survivors.

For Poles/ Ukraininians having less of these types might be because some of the looks come from Pre-Slavic Hunter Gatherer and Indo Europeans in the Balkans. 2nd Slavs selected from what the individuals base they got more graciler types, which might be the result of Corded Ware + Neolithic Farmers and than basically "ignoring" robuster types as mating option, while in many places in NW Europe that was no option, because 3/4 of women had robuster features.

Thats interesting Immanenz, what explains the fact that alpines in France and elsewhere don't look as pale as the Cro Magnons they are said to be? Coon said that the alpine type has a tendency to reddish hair and UP features so obviously we are dealing with a type that is largely of Cro Magnon inspiration.

Probably due to the Celtic influence, there were Celtic people in Balkanite regions in ancient period.
