Where I live there are thousands of Indians and South Asians in general; I see them on a daily basis and Xatar looks more stereotypically South Asian than many South Asians do. The only features that give him away as hailing from further West than South Asia is his more solid build, the shape of his forehead and cranium and a different complexion/skin tone than most Indians and South Asians.
