Having just mentioned them in a separate and unrelated thread, I thought I'd make a classification thread about them. Also, yes I know that no more than circa 10% of Colombians look like them, but even so...

Carlos Vives, singer

At least 100 million are European looking...you agree?

Possibly. But even many lighter-pigmented Latin Americans, to those with trained eyes, have non-European facial traits.

that is another 100 million.

=> 200 million got very light-skin, but only 100 million doesn't show non-Euro facial traits.

half of 100 million Latin-Euros live in Brazil, 27 million iin Argentina and many more in other Latin Countries with Uruguay being almost an European country (75% Euros)

For example, these councillors from Tunja in Boyaca, which is around a 2-3 hour drive from Bogota, are quite typical for the region. I know this because I have visited it and have several relatives there. Many of them are light-skinned, but their facial traits, when you look carefully enough, usually show some Amerindian admixture. http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?99299-Classify-these-councillors-from-Tunja-Boyaca-Department-Colombia/page2&highlight=boyaca

Furthermore, another reason why I said that no more than 10% of Colombians look like these celebrities is that even most White/Castizo Colombians still have dark brown/black hair and brown eyes. Light eyes and lighter shades of brown hair are very much in the minority.

dude I never agreed with more than 8% for Colombians and 10% for Venezuelans to estimate Euro looking population.
Colombia got almost zero Euro immigration post 1850, Venezuela got not much permanent Euro migrants (but people exaggerate this)

Many Colombians and Venezuelans got White skin though, not even 1/3rd pass for Euro.

If we talk about Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay , immigration rate was quite high between 1875 and 1925.

55% of Argentine got no Amerindian according to genetic studies.
it would be much more for uruguay.

First one is clearly a mestizo or castizo, he would not fit in Spain. Perhaps being confused as a gypsy, but I am going too far.

Juanes is Atlanto-med, could have some baskid influence since of his ancestry.

Margarita also looks Atlanto-med for me.

yeah carlos vives has that slight but unmistakable latinamerican vibe, what 'latinamerican vibe' means varies a lot depending on the individual ok, but you know what I mean.

First two look kind of Turkish, but the third one looks Spanish.

Carlos Vives: Atlanto Med / Berid + A very little Brazilid (Wayuu or Tairona) contribution (Even he is caucasian in my opinion, his phenotype is european).
Juanes: Gracile Med with some atlantid admixture / Berid
Margarita: Atlantid border Atlanto Med / Dinarid

All of them fit in Spain, also Carlos Vives.

I don't think he looks Gypsy, but I did say in the thread's title "white/quasi-white" because some might see Amerindian facial traits in them.
