To me, they look unmistakably Welsh.

dark pigmentation, overall western look but clearly british... thats what i expect from the welsh

Indeed. These are the distinctive Welsh types, though many other Welsh people are a lot more non-specific. I think that all four of the British Isles groups have their own distinct phenotypes, even if they are far from universal in each country.
1. PaleoAtlantid
2. Brunn
3. Atlantid
4. Atlanto-Med + Brunn.

To an extent, but they have some very Nordid players, like Richie Gray, that you wouldn't get so much in the Welsh team.

They all share specific CM - I wouldn't describe Richie Gray's look ''Nordid'' . I think this Scot (Sean Lamont) looks similar to both (heavy bone structure, eyes, etc.)
