He does not have Mongoloid influence. The area that he is from was Assyrian majority, and was a centre of Oriental Christianity, however it had a significant minority of Iranic Muslim Kurds. Also Tikrit would embrace Sunni Islam during the reign of Timur the lame and gets fully Arabized. In the 17th and 18th centuries Arabian Bedouin tribes would settle this area as well.
