Dinaro-Alpine (the Middle Eastern version of these types, obviously)

Potentially some Turanid influence, hard to say though.

Dinarid is just one type, there's no separate Middle Eastern, and European Dinarids. Armenids are the Taurid type most common in the Mid-East.

Iranid with asiatic alpinoid influences and additional Arabid influences. Looks less like a leading figure. Could sell Kebab's.

Carleton S. Coon disagrees with you, although he says that the distinction between Middle Eastern Dinarids and Armenids is somewhat arbitrary, he still makes a distinction. Of course, all typology is somewhat arbitrary so I suppose his word is not the be all and end all.

Assyrid.
Hardly.

If he'd walk among Assyrians, he will stand out a lot. His features are very Arabid.

He is more Iranid than Arabid. He looks like a South Persian

We are talking about phenotypes here. Assyrid = Arabid + Armenoid.

Negative on the Assyrian.

He does not have Mongoloid influence. The area that he is from was Assyrian majority, and was a centre of Oriental Christianity, however it had a significant minority of Iranic Muslim Kurds. Also Tikrit would embrace Sunni Islam during the reign of Timur the lame and gets fully Arabized. In the 17th and 18th centuries Arabian Bedouin tribes would settle this area as well. Btw his eyes were green or hazel. Turkic influence can be found more in Mosul, where Turkmen tribes settled, as well the Khazars who had annexed it, for a while. It’s believed that the Khazars brought red hair, blue eyes and as well blond hair to the area.

It seems he was very proud of the Assyrian and Babylonian civilizations. He even claimed to descent from Nebuchadnezzar lol.

All the mixed and varied phenotypes here, which makes sense because iraqis are mutts...a mixture of arabian, turkic, assyrian, iranian and levantine...Saddam looks all those combined! Eastern european jews, who are mixed, can have this look as well (walter matthau):

He has got semitic lips, turkic eyes and overall mesopotamian face. I'd admit that the fucker wasn't so bad in his heydays:

Assyroid and turanid imo...He's hardly iranid, looks nothing like the iranid racial templates.
