anyway hard to answer , i would say north greece or dalmatians croats , fact is that as a whole greece and croatia overlap more or less equally with bulgarans , north-western croats and greeks islander are both one of the most different from bulgarians in balkan :)

i voted greece because of north greece since is more related to bulgaria than any part of croatia , but i am not sure of my answer

What do you mean by West Croatia, Istria or Zagorje? If you mean Istria I bet they are on the same level as Dalmatians if not slightly darker.

I meant Zagorje, i don't count Istria any different then Damlazia. :D
