Just came across him randomly. He looks very archaic. Thoughts?

I've seen an archaic homo species reconstruction that looks exactly like him.

Not really I have seen more primitive actually.

I'd say around 25% of Aframs look as archaic or moreso than this particular Negrid. Bambutids and Kafrids appear most primitive to me.

Looks regular negroid level. Nothing outstandingly primitive about him.

Australian Aboriginals are the most primitive looking humans.

(I wonder if there are any "out-of-Australia" anthropology theories out there…)

Australian Aborigines, Papuans, and some Pacific Islanders look more "primitive" (I hate that word).

What are primitive traits?

Here's a list of some primitive traits:

Prominent brow ridge
Prognathism
Thick zygomatic arch
Foramen magnum positioned closer to the occiput
Strong jaw and teeth
Small cranial capacity
Receding forehead
Big mouth
Flat nose

Pretty good example, this is one of the most primitive i've seen:
