Dont think there a lot of vlachs in Croatia. Met on friday a Noric vlach, recently a baltid/pontid vlach, and my aunt is (unfortounley) married to a borrebybaltid vlach- but you may right, dont know much about their ancestry etc.

vlachs assimilate very quickly but yeah this dude has the stereotypical vlach look, where were those vlachs from and are they today serbs?

Well, yes- the Noric one is from the Serb- Rumanian border. 2. one is from Pozarevac and only half vlach and the husband of my aunt is actually from my region- Pomoravlje/ Sumadija in a wider sense- City: Cuprija

you do know that by vlachs i don't mean the romanian minority but real vlachs that means natives mixed with other things(roman slaves ...) who got romanized and later got slavized a lot

Not a best example, he's Dinaro/Alpinoid or reduced Borreby but not pure Dinarid.

Best example of Dinarid is this guy: http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?51776-Dinaric-Dinarid-Examples&p=2952289&viewfull=1#post2952289

well, they call themselves vlachs- its not me who categorizes them into this group of people. But i certainly know and get what you mean
