He is darker than most of the near east.

Would say north African.

It's not that he's dark- there are greek Cypriots just as dark. But he's features are clearly not native to South Asia or southeast Europe .

Most Cypriots don't have much natural pigment as this guy. They're usually dark from tannage. Same for Lebanese.

If you were to take your average cypriot and this guy out of the sun for a year, I'm pretty sure this guy would be darker.
