Your dumber than a bag of rocks. First Rusyn are an ethnic group. Second not everyone in the Greater Galicia region is a Rusyn. Even before WW1 and the Soviet Union, you had all sort of groups like Poles, Jews, Germans, Rusyn, Hutsuls, Romanians, Hungarians, et cetera; living in the area.

And as far as I am concerned - Lviv = Jew City. Almost all of it's inhabitants had either been Polish or Jewish before WW2

In my genealogy, I have a lot of German surnames (Grandparents) and the odd Polish and Hungarian surnames when we start going past 6 generations. I wouldn't even know what to expect if I could go back to the 17C or earlier
