There are two type of Atlantid, one is Nordo-Med like you said (some anthropologists claiming) and other is just pigmantated

It could be the good thing when people discuss the differences about the British Atlantid / partial French, Ibelrian Atlantid.
Most British Atlantids are CM but due to the less cold temperature it would have a bit of dark pigmantation.
Iberian/some French Atlantids are result of mixing with Meds.
