Gaahl agreed to take part in interviews for a documentary called True Norwegian Black Metal where he walks up mountains leaving the cameramen gasping for breath as they follow him. Gaahl shows them the small school
he went to with just one other child until he was 18,
and his grandparents house which they built themselves on top of a snow-capped mountain. An interviewer asked Gaahl a question, and Gaahl replied that he didn't think that the interviewer was asking him the correct questions and said the interviewer wasn't focusing on what was being said, then Gaahl stared into the void for 2 minutes in silence, before turning to glare at the interviewer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQh9B3hCCv4

Gaahl was the lead vocalist of black metal band Gorgoroth, and is now the vocalist of the bands God Seed and Wardruna.

He is known for supporting the church burnings in Norway, and for collecting the blood of a man in a forest who antagonised Gaahl, torturing him for six hours and making him drink his own blood from a cup, whilst singing him pretty Norwegian lullabies.

Gorgoroth are known for their stage concerts which involved replica sheeps heads on spikes representing the mass of sheep in society who follow a herd, and nude bodies hanging as human sacrifices on crosses with painted blood over them and their heads covered. Gaahl demands action from his audience, to not just be spectators and listeners.

Gaahl is a practitioner of Norse Shamanism and can often be seen wearing a Mjölnir pendant. Gaahl has stated that his intention with Wardruna is to bring Baldr out of Hel so he can die an honorable death and return to Valhalla.

Gaahl is strongly opposed to Judeo-Christianity.

Ribery is short skulled, if you look at his profile, the back of his skull is completely flat. This is very much in contrast compared to this Norwegian. Ribery's nose is downward sloping while Gaahl's nose is straight. Notice also the difference in brow bridge (Ribery doesn't really have it).

Ribery is brachycephalic dinarid type, while Gaahl is nordic type.

I have noticed,correct me if I'm wrong, that in Norway people tend to have longer faces and noses than in Sweden, where there is a major impact of baltid features.

I certainly don't think that Gaahl is the most evil man alive as he's not destructively brainwashing the masses like the pope or the likes of George W. Bush; he's opposing this and has his own free-will and is walking in his own free path.

I think he looks like a Nordic Viking in his features and a Nordic Shamen. He's attractive and has a strong and wise reflection in his natural appearance. I love his voice and his accent and his body language in his interviews. He wears an interesting warrior-like face-paint on stage in Gorgoroth (which means 'terror'.)

I like his black metal style in Gorgoroth, but I love his ethnic-spiritual music even more in Wardruna,
and his sounds at the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo.
