You got it properly, although it was second handed. You passed Baba Yaga test very easily thanks to your grandma :)

Some South Slavs have difficulties with this test reaching age of 20+ and defending themselves with taser LOL with torch, but it is another story :D

Croatian Baba Yaga seems to smell kind of Hollywood design, so it is artificial and commercial, but German one with her herb vodka looks yummy LOL :D

My grandmother described her as a wrinkled old woman with white hair and a big downward pointing nose,who is flying on a broomstick and laughing and eating children who are out after dark.

Was pretty scary at the time considering I was 6-7 years old.
