Doesn't look like a native Caucasian, like many South Caucasians.

Georgians are of Caucasian race[39] and often have brown hair and brown eyes.[40]

The Georgian skull the German anthropologist Johann Friedrich Blumenbach discovered in 1795, he used to hypothesize origination of Europeans from the Caucasus. He wrote:

“ Caucasian variety - I have taken the name of this variety from Mount Caucasus, both because its neighborhood, and especially its southern slope, produces the most beautiful race of men, I mean the Georgian; and because all physiological reasons converge to this, that in that region, if anywhere, it seems we ought with the greatest probability to place the autochthones (birth place) of mankind.[41][42][43] ”
Georgians who have historically lived in alpine areas of less sunny western Georgia, especially Svans, Gurians, and Mingrelians tend to have lighter features, with higher frequency of blond hair and light blue or green eyes.

A study of human genetics by Battaglia, Fornarino, al-Zahery, et al. (2009) suggests that Georgians have the highest percentage of Haplogroup G (30.3%) among the general population recorded in any country. Georgians' Y-DNA also belongs to Haplogroup J2 (31.8%), Haplogroup R1a (10.6%), and Haplogroup R1b (9.1%).[44]

Caucasus was first inhabited by PRE-IE people who were most likely not white but actually related to the people known in the Balkans as pelasgians. Some ancient historians regarded proto-georgians as some type of Ancient Egyptian race. Many Historians also regard Pelasgians as an Egyptian race.

South Caucasian

I agree. he looks very south Caucasian. like Armenians. aren't basically georgians considered south caucasians? Well, they might fall inbetween. He also has a non slavic surname, because many Caucasians have Russian adopted surnames.

It's just the suffix at the end, but Georgians don't have these kind of surnames.

He can't fit in North Caucasus, but probably as atypical pale skinned Albanian.

I know what you mean, there are some North Caucasians that a lot of times can look south Caucasian though. some north caucasians fall inbetween and I would consider them more central caucasian. I think south caucasians fit very well in south europe.

Not that many and they are usually immigrants from somewhere else.

We have dark types too but they are different than that.
