Old worlders do this too! ;) Many famous Europeans and newly-minted oligarchs concoct elaborate family trees that mysteriously connect to nobility or royalty. Or, they hang on to noble titles long after the relevant monarchy has been over-thrown. Ex. Polish "Prince" Stanislaus Radziwill.

Tooting Carmen, you must be a Cher fan? :) I always though she looked Native American. She's extraordinarily talented but ruined herself with waaaay too much plastic surgery. Now she looks freakish. She was beautiful at one point, but she jumped the plastic surgery shark, sadly.
