Well with all of the Pontic Greeks and Cypriots there (who are Hellenized and of Near Eastern descent).. but I don't think they generally do.

It is a good question because those particular Sicilians look more European than average, and some of the Greek photos have Pontians and Cretans in them to balance it out.

I definitely do not think either set looks MENA minus 10% of people. What I SHOULD have said was, which set has more North Euro. Next time I'll ask it that way.

i honestly find this weird. it's true that there are few middle easterner looking natives in south italy but the majority looks much more european and the mena south italians are probably even less than those who can easily pass in central europe (since alpinid is one of the main south italian phenotypes )

but i have to at least recognize that you have picked better pictures although you should have avoided pictures where people were heavily tanned (when i was much more tanned than now i wasnt as much tanned as those sicilians are in some of these pictures)

le persone la prenderebbero per italiana non perché i suoi lineamenti siano particolarmente mediterranei ma perché tu e gli altri sud europei avete molto in comune con i popoli del centro europa , se avesse avuto degli occhi azzurri e dei capelli biondi l'avresti classificata come faelide :D
in ogni caso per me potrebbe benissimo essere meridionale a prescindere dal suo colore di capelli. anche se avesse avuto dei capelli rossi e per caso passasse per strada ,dove vivo io, non penserei affatto che lei sia una germanica ma un'altra italiana. gli unici germanici che sono stata in grado di individuare erano dei turisti e questo non per i loro lineamenti ma perché erano in gruppo e con il tipico abbigliamento da turista crauto xD

she is tanned. italians are tan addicts so i learnt how to distinguish a tanned skin from a naturally brown skin
but i have to say that i have never menaged to get that dark, not even when as a child i used to go at the beach
