One looks white and the other Polynesian or SE Asian (but might pass as some kind of Amerindian). Equidistant IMO.

Imo Savea looks pseudo-triracial, as quite a lot of Polynesians and Maoris do in fact.

I would say both in equal measure.

Dan Carter as an harnizo or castizo Venezuelan (he doesn't look full white), but his British (instead of southern European) features would make him look a bit off.

and Imo Savea, as a Venezuelan triracial (though in his third pic he looks more Maori, and a bit off for triracial Venezuelan standards)

Dan Carter has very distant Maori ancestry, so the fact he is British with a touch of Maori produces largely the same effect that a Venezuelan who is Spanish with a touch of Amerindian would have. And how about these other Kiwi rugby players of Maori and Pacific Islander descent - do they pass?

All of them could pass as Venezuelans, IMO

Victor Vito imo would be the most borderline, whereas the others would be more in keeping with triracial types in Venezuela (and Colombia).

I would say Jonah Lomu and Jerry Collins are more borderline, but they still would pass.

I don't know if you'd agree with me, but in my experience South Asians (not all, but quite a lot) tend to fit better in Mexico, while Maoris and Pacific Islanders tend to fit better in Colombia and Venezuela.

Where I live, Dan Carter would be taken as fully white.

IDK, might be the case, but it would all depend on the individuals. Maybe you say that because Maoris and Pacific Islanders often give a triracial vibe, but not all mixed Colombians and Venezuelans are triracials. Both countries also have plenty of strictly white/Amerindian mestizos, indo-mestizos and Euro-mestizos, as well (Colombia more, but Venezuela too).

Yes I know there are lots of strictly Mestizo people in Colombia and Venezuela, but there are also lots of triracials, especially in the coastal regions of both countries. And yes, imo a lot of Maoris and Pacific Islanders do look pseudo-triracial. As for South Asians, for whatever reason the ones who pass tend to resemble Mexican Mestizos more than Colombian and Venezuelan Mestizos in my experience.

I can perceive his non-white mixture, because from my experience back in Venezuela, I saw/met many fully white Venezuelans (children and grandchildren of recent Euro immigrants) and many off-white Venezuelans, as well. And besides that, I have lived several years in Europe and North America.

Then, I have been exposed through all my life to plenty of full European phenotypes to get the expertise to detect if somebody is fully Euro or if the person in question has something off to be full Euro.

Dan Carter kind of resembles an off white Venezuelan (maybe like 80% euro with the rest split between Amerindian and SSA if he was Chamo), although he also has pretty British features so he would probably look off. Julian Savea resembles a triracial, although I also think a bit off.

Both, but in my experience the ones here tend to look more on Carter's side of the fence.
