I think she looks like the people round Thrace, Greek Macedonia, Thessaly and so on quite a bit. There are Greeks here who look like her who come from those places.

Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, Romania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary - fits in all of these, imo. Probably a few others (Czech, Slovak), too.

She is from Messina which was one of the last Greek speaking places on the island. From the results I've seen genetically they shift toward Cyprus rather than Greece, but I am sure in some areas there might be elevated Greek proper admixture which could explain her look also. I went to school with a girl from Ioannina who looked like this.
