The surname Arlanch means "long hair" (ar-lanch) in the language spoken in Bavaria, before medieval time. Also, there is a italian city, Arlanch, Vallarsa, Trento, from where seems to come some of members. Those information were research by a historian cousin that bears the Arlanch surname.

It's possible even if it seems a personal research. Cimbrians are originally a southern German population who settled in Trentino 800 years ago. They saved a bit their dialect but they almost all mixed with other Trentini and on average don't look particularly different from the rest of the population of Trentino.
