They could be from France, no area in particular. The right one could be Italian though.

There s a modern study on skin pigmentation that puts Portugueses as paler than Poles, im inclined to believe it. They don't have the rosy meaty skin of the Brits but some can be very pale from my experience, at least in winter (ofc studies like this are on unexposed areas of the skin)

Besides, the one holding the book can look French, the others not so much. Probably would have guessed them to be Iberians too.

They looked familar, when I saw the nursing magazine in their hands I was sure they were Portuguese, lots of PT nurses being recruted to work in England.

Welcome to The Apricity, where average non-swarthy or untanned Portuguese can't pass south of the Pirinees already.

Portuguese people in general are quite milky skinned but tend to tan easily depending on the weather conditions. I am a good example of it, I believe. In my avatar photo taken during summer I am tanned. In this photo below I was living in Poland, same person, completely different pigmentation.

Interesting that Irish males have (slightly) lighter hair and eye pigmentation than females. In the other populations, females are lighter in both. Also, it's interesting to know that Irish are more blond than Poles. This should come as a shock to some anthroforumers lol.
