from Sardinia?

Yes, she is from Budoni, Sassari, north Sardinia.

I don't know if she is "gallurese" (closer to Corsican) or "logudorese" (closer to other Sardinian languages). Budoni is at the border between the two linguistic areas.

Mens Sarda, do you know anything about her?

No, i don't know much about Sardinia...i know some sardinian people that migrated to the north but they look so different, on average...

she seems a very atypical sardinian to me...

I didn't know her, from what I know her village is in the region named Baronia, they speak Logudorese/Nuorese, not Gallurese, that maybe it's spoken in some area of the countryside, Gallurese language start to be spoken from San Teodoro, north of Budoni.

from wikipedia :

p.s.

her look it's not atypical in central Sardinia, her hair however appear to be dyed, such light hair are rare, a blond Sardinian would be usually golden or dark blond.

It depends from what part of Sardinia they come, there isn't a "standard" Sardinian look, the look can be very diverse from north to south.

p.s.

Sardinian singer! not Italian. Different people, different language, different history, different DNA; Italian it's just a word on the papers.
