I dont see anything Nordic in them. Agreed with the CM tendencies of the first guy, such as Xacal also pointed.

IMO both look similar. Curiously both share the same surname, although they are from different regions.

'Nordic' doesn't means much, it is mostly a pigmentational deviation rather than a proper type and these guys are relatively lighter than a 'pure' mediterranean. Craniometrically and even morphologically, 'Nordics' are for the most part indistinguishable from mediterraneans.

What you say is correct, the nordic and atlanto-med skull are mostly indistinguishable, but even from the measures point of view there's many nordics that are quite gracilicised and with small skulls like the gracile-meds. For many reasons I believe the classical anthopology classification systems is very imprecise. IMO These men are (West)Atlanto-Meds with dinariform elements, I prefer to call them Baskids.

Yes, this is why it is dumb to divide them in two completely different 'races' just due to pigmentational differences. I facepalm every time when i re-read Coon coining every fucking skull from the Bronze-Iron Age period as Nordic when you can't really know if these individuals were light or dark complexed, simply ridiculous but understandable as XXst physical anthropology writers were heavily influenced by political ideologies and their audience was mostly composed by upper-middle class Northern Europeans.

Agree. The truncated, static typological model was proved to be far from accurate today but it is easy and entertaining nonetheless, this is why people keep using it.
