I have only read some of the books quite a few years ago in polish. never played the game tho. is it any good? I think there was a polish movie or tv show featuring Geralt. that is why I asked if that guy was the actor who played the role

Not sure what you mean by original Slavic type, but if you mean the racial type that developed proto-Slavic... the Cromagnid influence is too strong in that man for that, IMO.

I know of some slavic stereotypes, but from knowledge of the history of certain slavic nations, there have been many MANY tribes of different origins that lived in areas currently populated by slavs (Poland, Ukraine, etc.) long before turkic or mongol invasions, etc.
To say that slavs looked a singular way is a bit of an oversimplification.

However, if you want my impression of general 'slavic' appearance then I suppose the stereotype i hear the most is the round faced one with deep eyes. I think Libre posted a good example :D

The Slavs have original types, but separated to South Slavic, East Slavic and West Slavic. The most common South Slavic type is Pontid/North Pontid. The West Slavs are mostly Baltid and Noric and the East Slavs are mostly East Nordid/Pontid. Of course there are many variations in between but it's not so hard to recognize the Slavs from the others... IMO the swarthy people from the Slavic countries aren't with clear native for the country heritage and shouldn't be consider as such.
