Haha yeah that definitely makes it harder. I don't have any "consistent" pictures when it comes to look. I was going to post a different picture of my mother but the background would have given it away. Not Romania though :p

You pretty much got it! Both of my parents are from Palestine. Sadly I do not know too much about their history; my mother did say her ancestors have had contact with Spain but that is about all I know. My father is from Silwad.

My mother did say our ancestors did have contact from Spain. Perhaps we are originally from North Africa? a lot of my family both my mothers and fathers side have those bulgy or heavy looking eyes. Iberian peninsula? maybe someone will chime in.

I sent the post before u sent the guess, Thats why i didnt know. I thought romani because his mother had some romani features, but yeah wouldnt have guessed palestinian at all XD.

Thanks for the response! :D I guess it shows that there is quite a bit of variation in levantines. In my family alone there is a lot, some that are hard to believe they are even close relatives. Lol

Oh ok my mistake, I misread. Yeah I lot of my family has very light skin, some quite pale. My father has a darker complexion, compared to his brothers who are almost pale which is very interesting. Same on my mothers side, but i do have relatives who are darker in complexion but they tend to stick out. My fathers side always fascinates me, the members with pale white skin and red curly hair.

After I don't know how many years obsessed with Iberians and other Southern Europeans you still can't make any difference...

My first impression was that they were both Eastern-shifted and they don't look typical. But I guess you're the expert on Portuguese and Iberian phenotypes...Basque, lmao.
