Many Georgians I've seen do look plain Balkan. Some people on anthrofora portray them as no different to Iranians, but that is really far from the truth.

I actually think they look close to all southern Balkan people -- whether Greek, Romanian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, or Albanian. On the other hand I don't think they look Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian.

Agreed. What's more, I do find it ironic how you love to emphasise the supposed "Europeanness" of Levantines, when you can find far more Georgians like him than Lebanese and Syrians (let alone Palestinians and Jordanians).

Plenty of Serbs and Croats display similar looks. In fact Dinarid influenced types are even more common among them than they are among Bulgarian or Romanian people.

I didn't say Lebanese look more European. However, I do find more overlap between south Italians/Ashkenazi/Maltese/Sicilians and Lebanese, than between those groups and Georgians. However I do think Georgians look "more European" OVERALL yes.

I agree that quite a few Lebanese are light (though still fewer than Georgians, of course), but even they look mostly like Sephardic or Ashkenazi Jews rather than actual 'plain' Europeans.
