He can pass in much of Italy and probably the Peloponnese. Otherwise he looks more like an islander.

I looked up his surname and it is fairly common in western Sicily. His is spelled the Palermitan way (Camilleri) but in Agrigento and Caltanissetta it can be found with another variation (Cammalleri).
